disaster has struck at PSS a local outbreak of swine fever has quarantined all horses nothing is allowed in or out so unless the order is lifted by wednesday at the latest our participation in next weeks races is completely out, luckily are training facilities are all within our own grounds so the preperation for future events can still continue as planned, will keep you updated if there is any developments.

Secret undercover reporter 'Newshound' reporting from deep in the heart of the Whispering Downs Stables.
Here at the Downs, there is some concern regarding this week's weather forecasts and I have it on the best authority that the stable's main Group 1 hope will NOT be in the big race.
The stable seems to be getting desperate and will be looking to grab some 'cheap' money in the maiden events again.
Training looks to be geared towards next season - is the stable failing to deliver on early season promise?
The stable's crop of colts look backward and they'll be lucky to be ready in time for the second half of the season at this rate.
Uh-oh...gotta go, don't want to blow my cover....

Stable staff here at SSS were asked a series of 15 horse racing related questions in a bid to win the stable £1,000,000. Bouts of coughing were reported when the correct answers were read out, and looking at the television replay this can now be confirmed, causing many sackings from the SSS stable and some hefty fines to pay off.
We are desperately seeking a colt that can run in sunny weather, as, at present, we don't really have one. News has broken out that the SSS stable are running horses in the Free Colts races in forthcoming weeks in a bid to gain a colt with attributes high in Firm and Good. The stable owners know that this has being jinxed, and it's probably a rumour anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it. :D

Trainer Jimmy Johnson and his staff were under the threat of the sack last week, however the improved performance of the YLN stable last week secured their job, for another week at least :wink .
Their were some impressive performances last week from Downpour, a narrow win over Gloria, whilst Don't cross the boss was only beaten by the ground. Sources inside the YLN camp suggest that these two fine animals may be racing again this week.
After a dire first three weeks of the season an improved last week has head trainer Jimmy Johnson hoping that it was not just a blip, and that the improved performance can continue this week.

Mr Piggy, I give you my most sincere appologies for the scenes caused by party girl on Sunday, but if you will turn out such a fine looking colt these things are to be expected.
Here at SAM's we have had stress all week so far,so we have only entered two horses to run this weekend.
The jockey who rode Gloria at the weekend had to be questioned over and over along with myself and various members of stable staff as to why he didnt win.
Eventually it was announced by the vet that Gloria had severe collic and would have probably have had it for a few days.It was the strange smell in her stable that led us to the problem.
We have now employed another member of staff to take the place of the stable lass we had to dispose of last weekend.
Also we have employed a very nice American gentleman called Robert to look after Party Girl inparticular, he is a horse whisperer and has had many years experience.
We are hoping that week 6 will see us back in full swing.
