I thought the money from winning bets was paid out minus the stake so £100 on Rose Of Oldham would net you £50.

Or did I just make that up?

I think that rule was changed a couple of weeks back.

The rule was amended to account for the fact that I had declared ALL the returns to include the stakes in error. It was that or having to do them all over again. :yikes:

I think the general concensus was that if you placed a winning bet, you should receive the stake and return.

Sorry if this wasn't made clear.

Nope - sorry, the free bet 'coupon' is only valid on the day and has a monetary value of 0.000001p - I think that's how they word these things!:)
