Pick your racing colours......

Afternoon all,

To make the Sim website a little more colourful, and also for the racecards and results pages, I thought it would be a good idea if everyeone chose their own 'Racing Silks Colours' which will be displayed next to your stable.

To do this, I will need you to go to www.sportinglife.com (http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/racecards/index.html) This link will take you to the racecards page, where you will need to browse the racecards and pick the colours of your choice.

You can then get the colours to me in a couple of ways.

1) The best way, Right Click the silks of your choice, select 'properties'.....you will then see an 'Address (URL)'.....ALL I need is the number towards the end of the address. something like 7661.gif
You can then either let me know the number via email, PM, or MSN. (mkwales@hotmail<dot>com)

2) Right click the silks of your choice, select 'Save Picture As....' save it to your PC, then send it to me as an email attachment.

There isn't any rush to get these to me, however it'll be nice to brighten up the website a little, and have a recognised set of colours for each stable.

Sam, your colours are now on show on the Sim Homepage....The leader of the Betting League (Sam) will have their colours displayed above their name.

Will be doing some other things with the colours later on tonight.

Thanks to everyone who has entred colours so far.

They can all be seen on the Betting League (http://www.usahorseracing.net/bettingleague) page.

I will try to use the colours wherever possible, however putting them on the racecard through excel has proved somewhat difficult, so I'm thinking of other ideas at the moment.
