Morning all,

The first stage of the auction has ended, and I can officially announce that below are the horses won by stables during stage 1.

These Yearlings will each cost 5% of your stable banks (not rolling)....so if your bank was £10,000, EACH yearling will cost £500. I will update the 'stable bank' thread afterwards.

The 'bidding yearlings' will be posted shortly on another thread.

Early reactions from the Whispering Downs stables show them to be in a bouyant mood following the first round of the auctions. We picked up a good looking colt who is closely related to the Cheveley Park winner and have high hopes for a successful career with him. Another of our acquisitions is a half sister to a runner up in one of the world's most prestigious races, the Melbourne Cup. She should win her fair share of Group races.

Also joining the stable are a filly and a colt whose parents were thought very highly of, but didn't quite make the grade on the track. The filly's sire was expected to take one of the Classics until an unfortunate injury put him off the track. Her dam had already been proven at Group level. The colt's parents were a major disappointment but the bloodline is a very strong one and the potential could carry through the line. We took a bit of a risk with him, but felt the price will be recouped in at least listed company.

We still have a couple of other prospects to consider, but we feel we could have to pay heavily for these classy looking juveniles.

Stables have been updated to show all new aquisitions.

Also, the update included Champ prize money, and experience points from week 11.

Stables updated again as there was an experience points error for New 2yo's.
