PSS have 9 runners this week including 3 2yo's , DARLING will go for the gr.3 queen mary at ascot after her gr.3 win last week, in an attempt to loose his maiden tag FLASH BY NAME is entered in the first at thirsk, NURSEY will take on the coventry stakes at ascot and is in with a shout if ground goes heavy.
Of the 3 year olds both PICKWICK PLONKER and BARROWCLIFFE BRUISER are entered in the queens vase at ascot and both have chances, SCARBOROUGH STREAK steps up to the group 1 coronation stakes and we hope for a good run, CASTLE CHOP has been working well at home but we dont expect too much from her in the queen anne stakes,SCALBY SCORCHER is put in a seller at thirsk in an attempt to get rid, last but not least CRACKLING goes for the st. james's palace stakes and should not be discounted.

WBJ Entries (subject to change):
Zero Chance, having trained on since his 103 RR 2nd in the first week of the season will accompany impressive Irish 1000 Guineas winner Picksixtrix (RR 122) in the Group 1 Queen Anne Stakes.
Lightly raced Muchacha Rápida, having trained on since her very green debut in week 2 will be hoping for atleast a place in the Group 2 Ribblesdale Stakes where conditions are ideal.
Our final 3yo runner is E Zee Rider, a late foal who will be heading for a 1 mile Conditions Stakes at Ayr, where we'll will be hoping to win, but feel the poor natured colt may well find one to good.
Last but no means least is our nice looking 2yo colt Toffee Crisp, whom after a promising debut in Listed company will be looking to shed his greeness and atleast make a good show in the Group 3 Norfolk Stakes.

Doom and gloom at FFF, where a shocking week 5 saw only 1 winner in a poor race.
A second in the Derby for the filly Ceylon Sapphire may have been seen as something of a tremendous result for another stable, but FFF has had far too many seconds! Encouragingly, based on her time and RR she would have walked the Oaks and was only beaten here by an outsider who may well have run above himself so connections still feel the right choice was made. We look forward to a rematch later in the season!!!
As the weather looks unseasonably wet at the Curragh, she will not be taking up her place in the Irish Oaks and with a lack of suitable opportunities over 1m4f in the coming weeks she may make an appearance in a sprint at Ascot.
The stable goes to Ascot strong handed with Shiny Silver a definate for the St James Palace and 1000 Guineas runner up Queen of Diamonds for the Ribblesdale.
None of our juveniles will travel to Ascot as, despite an encouraging and improved effort by Granite Godfather in the Derby and Oaks Hope Stakes, they are all still a bit backward. Expect to see a few get a racecourse outing at the lesser meetings in week 7.

Here at the SAM stable things have been ever so hectic, and this has shown in the poor performance of our runners so far this season.
We had staff shortages, and then the weather here caused chaos.
We got flooded out twice, and have had to completely revamp the stables.
Hopefully now things will start to improve, and I will be able to accompany my runners to the tracks as many of then don't run well if I am not around.
This week we have 6 runners.
Race 13 - sees King of the Mountain out for his third run.
One of our new two year olds he is showing promise, he has so far had 2 runs and placed both times, once in a listed race.
Today we are hoping for soft-heavy ground and hope for a least a place.
Race 17 gives us Gloriathis filly has left us scratching our heads here she is such a wonderful thing and tries so hard but she is till a maiden having placed only 3 times in her career.
Today we have entered her in a G1 event hoping that the extremely stiff opposition might spur her on.
Race 18 is a 3 horse event, and we have Bad running.
We worked hard with his attitude problems last season, and are hoping it may pay off.
Race 20 sees our smallest colt taking to the track again. Joey is the sweetest thing and gives his all everytime.
He has had 2 wins previously, and snatched a place in a G2 race last week.
Race 22 we have entered two runners.
Party Girl is our shining star here she is a G1 winner and has also placed a couple of times in G3 races. We had a lot of problems with her in the beginning, and even had to employ a horse whisperer who quit when she bit him once too often, her eye for the boys sees her getting distracted at times but we have every confidence in her everytime.
Also in this race we have entered Waltzing Matilda this is another we are confused with. After 7 runs she is still a maiden although she has placed 4 times.
This race although a little hard for her will hopefully give her some confidence, she should prefer racing with another of her stable mates.

Just the 4 runners for the SSW Stable this week but all have decent chances.
Ring Ding Dong comes up against just 3 horses in the 1m 1f listed race after winning his maiden last week, beating Homer in the process. The stable expects a win from this 2-Y-O as on paper looks the winner.
After that it's on to Royal Ascot (2) and races 20, 22, and 23.
Puffpuffpass runs in the Queens Vase over 2m and he came on well in his 2nd run over todays distance posting a respectable 90. Although will still need to improve to get in the action today.
Hip Hop looks to have a huge task on her hoofs if your to believe the odds of 200/1. The stable expects more than what she has shown in her first two outings posting poor ratings of 70 and 80. A failure of a win here and she will look to go into Handicaps.
Tommy Gun to the stable star so far steps up to 1m4 today in the King Edward 7th stakes and is expected to be up there. He is a consistent performer having already won a G3 and come 2nd in a G2 and represents SSW best chance of Royal Ascot glory.
