and having waited years, no decades, for this guy to bring out a live album, this is AWESOME. He sounds as amazing live as in the studio, and with the orchestra the background sound is fantastic.

Cheeky git! We had tickets to see Meatloaf last year, he cancelled twice through ill health and didn't re-schedule - very disappointing as he's supposedly retired from live work now....

I remember going to see him about 14 years ago when he was trying to make the comeback. He played all small venues. He was unbelievable

Only time I saw him was Reading Festival 1988 - he was on mid afternoon on the Saturday and got the full treatment! Result - exit one bruised ego, nursing a broken nose. I can't say he deserved to get a bottle right in the face, but he came on all 'Mega star' and that sort of thing didn't go down well with a Reading festival crowd back in those days....
