Thanks Campbell, I mean, you never know when you might come across a zombie. That'll be really useful the next time one decides to try and eat me. :D

Derren is doing shows in June in London, I'm seriously thinking about going.

He put a Resident Evil type zombie first person shooter in a pub, using software he had specially commissioned for him and he had designed layouts for. The software was being controlled from a back room and hidden cameras were focused on the machine. The flashes in the game play were designed to put the player into a catatonic trance.

A guy started playing it and then just fell into a trance and slumped against the machine. Derren and his team dashed out, put this guy on a hospital trolley, wheeled him down the round to a disused hospital (or a location setup to look like one) that matched the layout of the game he was playing. Actors were in the same place and state as the zombies he had been blasting when he dropped into the trance. They put a gun (fake, obviously) in his hand, Derren and this guy's mates went and hid again then they woke him up. He was wandering round blasting zombies with this gun yelling "I will shoot you. I'm not afraid to shoot you" while absolutely blobbing his trousers. Eventually he gets cornered in this room, Derren puts him back into the trance, takes him back to the pub, puts him back how he was playing the game and then wakes him up again with the screen saying "Game Over" on the machine. They then interviewed him about what he though the game was like saying they were a marketing team. Then they came clean and showed him the video of him blasting these zombie actors to bits.

Like I say, I think I would have freaked out.

That sounds absolutely fantastic,
I'll have to see if they are planning to show it again!

Don't normally miss any of his shows, don't know how that one passed me by! :rolleyes:

I saw that one a while back, absolutely class trick to play on someone, think I would have had a heart attack if it'd been me
