Can't seem to find the answer to this in the help on excel...

What I want to know is how to have different size rows next to each other meaning that in one column a particulr row is the size of two rows (but is only one cell) and the rows in the surrounding columns are normal size.....

like this

the full stops are not supposed to be there, was the only way i could space it so it came out right!

Use 'centre across' - that should do the trick.

Or use Format, Cells, Alignment, Merge Cells (easiest from the right click).

Merge Cells

Highlight cells/right click/format cells/ Aligment tab/ tick box which says merge cells
