Which Gateway....

Hi Guys,

After a lot of farting about, time wasting and walking up several garden paths with 3rd party merchant processors.......mainly probably due to the fact that they didnt and dont understand my business, plus the fact that being based in Brazil seemed a negative.........I have now (should have done it in the beginning) got my own Merchant Status with both Visa and Mastercard.....

Which is the best Gateway solution...I am currently looking at VERISIGN AND AUTHORIZE.NET.......any others.....or negs about the 2 I am looking at ?

They are both expensive, but Verisgign is the most well known. You could work through Worldpay, or Paypal.

Most shopping trolley software have this kind of thing as part of the package.

I understand that PAYPAL is a bit of a bind for customers to use......plus I read paypalsucks.com the other day.....that was scary........:yikes:

Oh...and Worldpay was one of the buggers who messed me around.....and they dont answer emails ...........

I've heard generally from people with online businesses that PayPal's reliability and customer service have improved dramatically since it's changed hands. (I think it belongs to Ebay now?)

Ebay have put a bid in for Skype.....I just started using that the other day.....2p to Singapore, 2p to Honk Kong, 0.013p to the US :) ........16p to the Philippines!!!

.....Guess which country has the crappiest phone system, but rips off it's citizens abroad when they phone home??? :)
