Do you mean the Windows Taskbar that includes the start menu, or another toolbar?

Yep, you can't add websites to that toolbar... but if the forum is in your favourites, you can add it to the Windows Taskbar by opening the favourites folder or clicking start, then going to favourites. Right click on the w2w link and drag it down on to the quick launch part of your taskbar, drop it there, and when it gives you the options, click create a shortcut. That way you can click that icon and go direct to the forum in a new window.

If you right click yer mouse almost anywhere on the Win2Win home page (forum or otherwise) , you will get a cascade type menu..... click on create shortcut , and win2win will appear on your desktop as an icon.....

OK... your taskbar has a couple of different parts - starting from the left you have your start button, next along is the quick launch part - you will probably have a couple of icons on there already - usually internet explorer and outlook express plus a show desktop icon. If you follow Merlins instructions to put a shortcut on the desktop, then drag that on to the quick launch area you should be sorted - good luck!

Yep, you can't add websites to that toolbar...

You can add sites to that toolbar very easily:

First open your favourites by clicking on the button and you should see a folder called Links. If you already have a favourite for the forum, just drag it into that folder - if not, click on Favourites, Add favourites. When the new dialog box opens click on Create In so that you can see the folders listed, highlight the Link folder and click OK.

So now you have your forum link in the Links folder but it's still not displayed on the toolbar. On the extreme right of the toolbar are two little arrows. Click on those arrows and it will show you all of the links in the Links folder. Now just drag this link onto the Toolbar anywhere to the right of the address bar until you can see a large vertical line. When you release your mouse, the link will appear there.

You can move all of the existing links that are added by Microsoft, e.g. Channel Guide, Free Hotmail etc. Even better you can delete them too - just open up the Links folder and drag the links around or delete the ones you don't want. It's also useful to know that the order in which they appear in the Links folder is also the order in which they appear on the IE Toolbar so, by rearranging them into the order you want, that's what you'll see next to the address drop-down and Go button.

Like most Toolbars, if you do a right-click you can unlock the toolbar. This allows you to do really useful things like resizing the width of the address bar - the default width is too wide in my view. You can also add more useful buttons by right-clicking and selecting customize but remember to right-click and lock the toolbar when you've done with your changes.

One further useful tip. If you have other folders in your favourites, you can drag and drop them into the Links folder and they'll also appear on the IE toolbar. When you click on the folder name, a drop-down menu will appear listing all of the sites in that folder.

Say you keep all your betting sites in a folder called Bet Sites and all your form sites in a folder called Form Sites. Dragging both of those folders to the top of the list in the Links folder in your favourites will make them both appear to the right of the Go button. You can then get to a favourite Betting or Form page with ease and it's much easier than scrolling up and down the Favourites list.

By arranging all of your favourites into suitable folders within the Links folder you can access all of your sites without even needing to have your favourites window open.

That's how I access all of my favourites.

Hope that helps

Not a problem :)

The more astute of you might've noticed that there is, in fact, a Customize Links button already on the toolbar. Clicking it doesn't actually customize anything - but it does take you to this page:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/customizelinks.htm
which tells you pretty much what I've already said apart from the reminder that you need to have the Links bar visible by right-clicking and selecting it, or clicking View, Toolbars, Links.
