startup help needed

Is there a menu, where you can stop programs popping up at startup?


every time I start the PC, I get asked if i want to run PCeye 2000 (child protection software that came with the computer.) Its really annoying. Last time i tried to get rid of it i :censored: things up (dont ask me how) and had to do a system restore. are there any menus anywhere that you can select or delete programs that pop up at startup

Go to Run......type misconfig...and the go to start up...make the relevant changes there boss

If you are running XP....

Start / Run

Type msconfig and press enter

You'll get a box with the option for Startup...uncheck the ones you don't want to start.

I'm sure there are other ways, but that's how I got around a few issues.
