The police would not warn you. They would turn up on your doorstep with a search warrent and seaze evidence. A warning would give you time to remove evidence. This must be a remove porn pictures from your PC sell by playing of a persons fear to make them buy protection.

All these virus/trojan avertising/speed software is just another form of the old mafiia protection racket.

Ignore it, seems like a pop-up. And like it has been said above if the Police knew anything about it, they would be knocking on your door not sending you messages via the Net.

If you were not looking up dodgy sites, you would have no reason to think it is real.

however, judging by your other dilema post, this is not the case! vegy is in trouble with the law, and needs refuge :yikes: :)
