dvd writer

my dvd writer has just started doing this today , it will read a disk but when it comes to write it fails and i get this message - power callibration error - does anyone know what this means and how to sort it?

Have you changed the type of DVD you write on? From what I gather some drives are a wee bit fussy about the type of media used.
