Nothing exists, so don't believe the hype. If it did, the fat average would not be rising at an alarming rate, alongside the number of strokes & heart attacks.
It is a simple matter of eating less food, and fatty & saturated products, as well as salt. If you don't put it in, your body can't store it!
Look at Micky Quinn in Fit Club, lost 3 stone in 2 months. Like professional gambling, it takes will power, that is all the medication you need.
It is statistically known that people overweight die much earlier than if they were slim. Look around, how many fat pensioners do you see compared to slim ones?
It is a persons own choice whether they want to live longer or not.

would make sense you need a certain amount of fat

9th March 2006, 12:59
the supplements that are for weight loss are basically caffine.
and with the high caffine levels you get lots of energy from nowhere, there are often appetite blockers in there aswell, so you don't want to eat.
you will lose fat as you won't be eating as much and you use slightly more energy - due to the caffine buzz. but it has a downside:
your body will think it is starving, as you are not eating as much and slow down metabolism, it may also break down muscle tissue into fat (more energy) in more extreme uses.
......................................................
i have terrible insomnia, so to try and combat this i used strong sleeping pills at night (very groggy in the morning) and to combat this a caffine rich product 'sida cordifolia' to pep me up in the morning. this product i found very strong and i didn't want to eat all day (untill late evening) - actually brightens your mood aswell.
- i only used this in small 1 week cycles, to try and get my body clock in sync though. i don't do it anymore though.
......................................................
but to be honnest it sounds like you dont need them.

It is true that your body needs an amount of fat - it is a necessary part of your body make up! It's a bit like this low cholesterol garbage... you actually need some cholesterol as it's involved in sex hormone production... too little cholesterol = too little testosterone = no :icon_tong
You just need to keep the cholesterol under control, and don't believe the crap about these statin drugs either. Yes they will lower cholesterol, but they have nasty side effects, liver damage, muscle wasting are the most common. Docs now hand these out like sweeties, thanks to the drug companies pushing them as a miracle cure for all sorts of ailments...

in shows a few years back.done several shows and the scottish and won
a few, cant tell u my real name:wink .one of the best diet pills on the market
now is STACK 11 (two) but u must drink a hell of a lot of water.i use,
(from a chemist) 2 pro plus tablets 100mg. 1 aspirin tablet 300mg (must be
aspirin) 1 sudafed tablet 60mg (must be the red tablet, what u are after
is pseudoephedrine hyrochloride) when i start a diet i will take this with

hi huck
been thinking about doing an E/C/A stack - need to cut a lot (getting into boxing).
i think ephedrine is still legal in the UK
seen the pure form 50p for 45mg (will send you a link) - not sure about the source though.
heard the ratio was:
25mg ephedrine
200mg caffine
200mg aspirin
what % of sudafed is ephedrine?
would it be more effective to use sudafed or pure ephedrine?
huckabuck
14th May 2006, 09:21
hi presto;
if u have a good diet and you are training all u need is the sudafed combo.
dont know how to get ure link, not to clever with the pc.my popup blocker
is stopping it.
on the stack 11 even i find it to strong.it has 500mg of ephedrine (ma huang)
herb name and 200mg of caffeine.
on the ephedrine,my mate was told not to keep it in his house(he had a lot)
because its being moved up to class (b) from a good source that works
with the (good guys):D hope this helps

Getting back into the training and the first supplement will be the creatine and some aminos along with some decent protein, a mate back up the road has recommended a combination to me that I cant remember but will get on the phone to him, hes been training for years and reckons the new combo is the dogs danglies. You probably already know to eat small every couple of hours SC and drink plenty water. There so many supplements on the market now that its hard to know where to start.

A good friend of mine died at an early age - he was fit but his heart could not take the strain.
Personal belief is that you only need to be as fit as the demands of your normal life put on you, that includes not being over or under weight.

I am really glad you said this Big C.. my husband1s GP hands them out to everyone.. my husband`s cholesterol was borderline - i.e. 6.1 which isn`t very high at all but he came home with packets of these bloody things.. I told him I would lower his cholesterol in 4 weeks to below 5 without one of them. I did. Only cheat if you could call it that was I gave him some of the flora pro activ yoghurt on his fruit or cereal instead of other yoghurt every day.. otherwise I just cut out a bit of cheese/butter.. he isn`t a cake/pastry man anyway.. he went down to 4.8 and I took the statins back to his doc unopened..I am always complaining about his GP practice.. I go to a different one, because whenever he goes he comes out with a ton of stuff... which is all costing the likes of us. Apparently they have come out top of all the GP practices in the county for prescribing - not surprised. But why do they do it ? They get paid every time they take BP but do they get a bonus for prescribing bloomin' statins ? :hearty

Professor Stanley Wells has been blasted by critics after deciding to rewrite the complete works of Shakespeare in Cockney :yikes: Deciding that Shakespeare was for girls, Professor Wells has been seen burning original copies of Shakespeare books. He has been habding out his "new" versions to pupils at Oxfoird University!
Further investigations have revealed Professor Wells to have been heavily influenced by the use of the apparently harmless druugs called Statin. When asked to quote Professor Wells was quoted as saying, "Alwight cocker, ahh you dooin. Mustn't grumble mate."
When asked for a reaction, Missus Wells stated that Mister Wells had better find a room for the night!

That's the bit that worries me Susan... the drug companies have been known to 'help' GP's prescribe their new wonder drugs.... a lot of good medical research has been stamped on by the companies as well because the results have gone against their own 'findings' and would cost them and their shareholders a fortune. Consider the possibility of a cure for the common cold.... no more need to take Lemsips, paracetamol, ibuprofen and all the other stuff we all do when we've got a bad cold... you think the drug companies are likely to let that market disappear?

Take it with a Glucosamine 1500mg and Chondroitin 1200mg and you'll notice the difference after a month, then stop taking it for a week, and see what a difference it has made!!

Are you sure SC? Presto's right about the packaging - given that anabolics are a class C drug (like cannabis - illegal to supply, but OK to possess for personal use) you're unlikely to get them in any sort of commercialised packaging (like bottles with pictures of monkeys).
