For what reason are horses listed in Betfair in the order the are? I notice the shortest prices are usually at the top or thereabouts, is this the way its set up?

Apologies for the ignorance. I have still to lose my first fortune on there and would like to avoid doing so.

Yep, you are correct. The cards are put up about 8 o clock and as the money comes in, the order changes with the shortest price on top.

There is no such thing as a stupid question, unless you are Vegy.

Shortest are usually at the top, but it only updates the order every 10 minutes or so, so you may see shorter ones lower down.
