can anyone please help with a problem that i have.
when iswitch on my comp.the moniter keeps flashing in and out and the coulors keep going from lihgt to dark

When you say "in & out" do you mean off & on ?

If so make sure your pc is off, disconnect your monitor from the power and main PC and reconnect making sure all connections are fixed firmly.

Usually a loose monitor plug that, or a faulty graphics card.

no the problem is that the colour on screen flickers on to lightcolours and then dark the monitor connectioms are ok

You need to test with another monitor. If it is OK then your monitor is faulty, if the test one flickers, it is the graphics card.
