I'm not around much this week.
Nope my diary aint overflowing with invites from A list celebs.
Its my eyes.
The eyelids have swollen up, so bad my eyes look closed.
They are red, and burning.
Finally went to the docs today and she said it is an allergic reaction to something that has come into contact with my eyelids.
The skin has broken slightly probably due to me rubbing them continuously and led to infection which has transfered to the eye through the eyelashes.
Reading or even looking at things makes them sting like crazy, so I may be a little quiet until the potions I just paid an arm and a leg for at the chemist start to work

i have something similar sam, i think it's either a reaction to cat's (we have 2) or dust (the cats go behind the couch + other hard to clean places). as sometimes when i stroke the cats i come out in a rash and my eye's swell up and water - sometimes close completely. this usually lasts for a couple of hours before returning to normal.

It's definately not dust and I dont have cats, I used to and never had a problem.
Doc says it has to be something I have had contact with in the last 2 weeks that I have not had contact with before, on my eyes anyhow.
I have my eyelashes dyed black but I have this every 4 weeks and have done so for years so she says it can not be that.
Ive not changed my cleanser or moisturiser, so it has to be something I have got on my hands and then transferred it to my eyes.
Maybe washing up liquid or disinfectant or something.

the best anti-histamine for this sort of thing is CLARITYN.. over the counter, no reactions with any other meds you may be taking and it works in about 15 minutes...always have some by you..:hearty
