Anyone know of any cheap ones in the city centre that can be booked online and then cancelled without costing anything/much to cancel?

I'm thinking ahead :)

I know there;s a travelodge round the corner from the MS,
but I don't know what the cancellation's are like.

Also a Holiday Express if I remember correctly, that's also pretty cheap!

best idea is to stay at bristol and if you're going with a few mates book a stretch limo for the journey from bristol to cardiff.
you'll be surprised how little the limo costs if you split the costs between a few of you.
you might as well do it in style

Just checked out the nearby Ibis and Travelodge and it appears both can be cancelled without cost. Time to book now and cancel next week if necessary I reckon.

How many tickets do you think you would sell if you got to the Millennium Stadium.

I would imagine of all the teams in the play-offs, you would have the biggest attending fans, outnumbering either Cheltenham or Wycombe by a substantial margin! Ooo

I reckon we'd easily sell 30,000+. Had it been Lincoln in the final I would have said the whole stadium would be full.

We took loads to Wembley when we went there twice in '98, winning both times :D

I see you got somwhere booked already mat.

Just for future reference, anytime I am in Britain, I stay in the premier travel Inn. It normally costs £47 per night, but that is per room, so you could have more than one in person stay for that. It fairly basic, but it is clean, and most hotels are central enough. I think they have about half a dozen in cardiff. I cancelled before, and they charged me about €3

I see you got somwhere booked already mat.Not yet, but looks like we will go for the Ibis as the Travelodge is near a load of towny bars and that's the last thing we need.

Plenty of B&B/Hotels in Cathedral Road, Cardiff

Within walking distance of the centre (10 mins) yet well away from all the rowdy nightspots. If you pop down the sidestreets there are still plenty of pubs and places to eat. Stayed at the Abbey quite a few times and never had any problems.

The Holiday Inn (Castle Street) is 30 secs walk from the ground, and usually do deals for about £70 a night B&B for the room (2 people). I stay there regularly.
