If it were just IE, I'd say it was a problem with the new Active X controls that MS have just recently installed as part of their essential updates. If the RP are trying to use the OBJECT or EMBED tags to stream Realplayer or Windows Media files, then it will be blocked. See my post about the issue in the Rant forum.

As you've mentioned Firefox though it's more likely to be a problem with the Racing Post site itself. Either the video files aren't on their server or the code is looking in the wrong place.

I can't get live online racing here :( I get the message 'Not in the UK'.....thought they'd done away with that by now.

Tried through the Onspeed proxy in the UK, but no use. Even Steganos Anonym doesn't work, and that's supposed to hide all my details.

Glos darling, how do I hide the country tag? :)

Have you tried setting up an anonymous proxy in IE?
1. Click "Service" or "Internet Options"
2. Click "Connections"
a. If you use Dial-Up connection, choose your connection and click "Settings" button.
b. if you use LAN connection, click "LAN Settings" button in the "Local Area Network (LAN) Settings" group box;
3. Enable "use a proxy server";
4. In fields "Address" and "port", type proxy name and proxy port number;
5. If nessesary, enable "bypass proxy server for local addresses";
6. Click "OK";
7. Click "OK" to close IE settings.

This might help...or might not http://castlecops.com/proxomitron-HTTP%20Header%20Filters.html
