I know Marcus once wanted some racecards for a day that he missed but nobody had saved them.

Well, I think I have found out a way to retrive old racecards! :D

You need to know the date of the meeting you want and the 3 letter abbreviation for the meeting.
As an example I looked up the Hexham meetinf on May 31st!

racingpost.co.uk/horses/a_days_racing.sd?crs=HEX&r_date=2006-5-30&cards=1
(I've taken out the http://www bit otherwise it shortens the link!

Just change the date to whicever day you are searching for near the end of the link!
then where it says HEX, change to an abbreviation for one of the meetings held on the day you are looking for!

I only tried this on a whim, so don't know how long old cards are stored for but thought someone might find it useful! :)

Actually, you only have to change the date bit and then click on Other Meetings down the right hand side!

Seems to go back a long way too! :D

Thats a new feature to the RP site. Didn't do it before they started implementing the Viedo results.
