Have you installed a toolbar? These will sometimes stop you from having the homepage you wish.

If you use Spybot Search & Destroy, click on Tools, IE Tweaks. Uncheck the option that says Lock IE start page setting. Then change to your normal home page using Internet Explorer, Tools, Internet Options.

If you wish, go back to Spybot Search & Destroy, click Tools, IE Tweaks and then check the option to Lock IE start page setting - this will prevent your home page from being hijacked in future.

Have you installed msn messenger recently?

Unless you untick the box while doing this, it will set the msn page as your home.

Along with Adaware, it's one of the most useful preventative programs you can install
