Number of races/runners

We can see the number of runners has gone up massively the last two years, whether it's due to loads more meetings, races, or runners, whatever it is, is this number going to keep growing every year or will it settle down? I really don't want anymore! :yikes:
This year does look on par with last so far.

nah, more like no matter what horse wins and what the odds were the bookies will be allowed to pay out at 1/10.... unless the horse was 1/20... :yikes:
