Suicide generally works a treat.....only drawback is the lack of gambling after it!!

It's your age, probably arthritis setting in.....enjoy it...I have for 20 years :geek

Take off taking 1 X 1000mg of Omega 9, and 1 X 1000mg of Omega 3,6,9, and some calcium. This won't stop much of the pain, but slows down the progression.

Done bugger all for me them, and I've tried them all at some point :lickme

Usually mixing & matching drugs can have an increased effect.....as long as you stick to 50% of the advised dose of each per day, sort of 1 Brufen, and 1 Paracetamol together.

I can't comment on it's effectiveness against arthtritis, but I know since I've been taking them I don't walk around like Douglas Bader for 4 days after playing rugby on Saturdays.:)

When I had a dodgy knee (which turned out to be a cartilage issue requiring surgery) I was recommended vitamin E and cod liver oil by my tai-chi teacher. But both made me barf so I stopped taking them and kept pestering my GP and consultant to get me under the knife.

I suffer from gout and have to avoid things witch would cause high levels of uric acid such as red meat ( very difficult ), liver, tomatoes, mushrooms (very difficult), red wine ( sometimes difficult) and spinach ( very difficult)

Amputation.....a bit drastic but does get rid of the pain for good :)

I think you're safe taking full doses of both as they're different drugs? I know a couple of UFC fighters who take upto 10 of each after a fight! :yikes:

My own method of fighting joint pain is cod liver oil & glucosamine supplements. Additionally, if its down to running/training, perhaps investing in a good/comfortable pair of trainers would help. That said, I cant imagine Peza running :box

I'd ask the pharmacist on that one Wokshy, it might seem fine but you can do long term liver damage.
