Not the mileage one. The Thunderball one.

It just doesn't make sense that they mean you have a number right.

GlosRFC

It does make sense...however the green lights aren't necessarily aligned to the number shown above them :wink

Ah. How silly of me. Think I'm going to explode here all the same.

Fadetoblack

Got it open but before I had a chance to decipher the next one, I lost both my legs.

I see Vegy's name has vanished...is it too much to hope that...Kaaaboooooom??

fade..now you've mastered the tricky task of opening the box, the next set of puzzles should be a breeze.

Had to try all combonations on the keypad :( but got through in time on the second go. Mastermind followed by what I thought was going to be a magic square but could not be bothered with trying to work out the arithmatic followed by two tests in binary arithmatic

i cut the wrong wire too Marcus :(

I think black is zero in the resistor colour code vegy.

I'll have another go... cheers Marcus! 3rd time lucky! :D

The keyboard is relatively easy - it is a magic square. The switches are binary but the wire is ridiculously easy once you've spotted it.

Sounds like you've already noticed that the colour of the wire changes each time you play :)

Anyone know of any more flash games like The Doors or that one where you have to get out of the house that are doing the rounds?

GlosRFC

Guess...or work it out?

Here's a few balloons for you :party

Marcus told me! :D

You would've been in trouble if the answer hadn't been zero that round, then!!

Good puzzle. Did it with 8 mins left. The wire numbers are in hex.

GlosRFC
17th October 2006, 01:56
Hex????

The number is the product of one of the multiplications listed alongside....no need to resort to hex at all.

Yes the number is the product of the multiplications, but unless you know the hex codes 000000 or 0000FF, you still wouldn't know which wire to cut. IMO :D
