Does anyone know of any muscle creams, oils, etc that can be massaged in that relax you that actually WORK.....and are a mixture of tea leaves & Tibetan cow pee.....:D
I have a feeling though, with my condition the only solution is Botox, but I'll try others first....and don't mention anything with menthol in, it gives me a headache which sort of ruins the object......nor those crappy sprays that work for 5 minutes....

Try meditation and self hypnosis, maybe introducing suggestions. People shrug that type of thing off like it's a complete load o ballbags but if you've got half a brain it works! You're not going to be magically cured, but the possibilities are endless, though alot of work and belief is required. Daily suggestions are suggested to take upto 6 weeks to start having a sub-concious effect. I've been in mysterious back agony during the night for a few months now, an osteopath had a go for a wasted 40 quid, to very little effect. Then one night in the bath I remembered my old relaxation techniques which is basically focusing on all muscles letting go and becoming heavier and heavier, plus controlled breathing of course, for anything from 10 minutes to an hour (only 10 mins on this occasion) and amazingly had 3 of the best nights kip I've had for months!

Try Fiery Jack.
It doesn't have an odor and is made from ground chilies. it really does the trick for warming up and then letting mussels let go.
But trust me, don't get any in your eyes and of course make sure you have proper washed your hands before going for a piss.
or you will regret it!

...and where do I buy this oil/cream that causes this meditation....or did you not read the question? :ermmm
Fiery Jack. - No use, it only works for a few minutes, I'm talking hours. 4 out of 6 of my main neck bones are fused solid, therefore the musles involved with them are not in use, and become solid & swollen. Massaging works to an extent, but I need something to rub in that is effective.

One of my team mates once rubbed some in a referees undies after he'd been sent off in a rugby match. You should've seen him in the bar afterwards.:laugh

Lets put it this way, if someone repeatedly kicked you hard in the nuts, and having 6" nails hammered in your head, would your meditation cure that? As that is the pain levels I have.

And you like to remind us of your pain regular you big girl :laugh Nothing like exagerating it either. :D PS actually made a good recommendation too. Meditation can work for many ailments.
Have you considered magnectic therapy? Ayurvedic massage? Herbal remedies?

Alternatively, I understand homosexual men use "poppers" to relax their ::swear::swear::swear::swear muscles. Sounds exactly what you're after :)

On that note mate, and in relation to your insomnia, the leaves contain higher levels of chlorophyll, which when smoked make you sleepy. If you can get hold of leaves it might be worth a go. I prefer the bud dripping in crystals, naturally :D

:yikes: - i have (in past times) been curing the buds for long periods of time to remove the chlorophyll - a much smoother smoke.
i tried the crystal soaked leaves that were trimmed from the cola, but didn't notice much difference.
but i am trying to quit smoking (past 2 weeks) - doing ok so far, so no weed for me :ermmm .

After much practice it would probably help yes, just ask Shaolin monks! Take alot of patience and determination though.
So what is it you have then? A bad type of arthritis? When did it start and why?

I've told ya before......are you taking pills for memory?
Poisoned in the RAF in 1986, 21 joints effected with chronic spondylitis, and gaining an extra 2 per year, already had total jaw replacement with titanium (ups my death value!), and will need replacement knees, hips, and elbows in time, a metal bar in my lower back, and if all 6 bones in my neck fuse, and op there as well :(
Rather that sitting around spending my life moaning about it, I just put up with it, and done something with my life, and still have plenty of goal I WILL achieve. Even on the days I can't walk, move, etc, I still make a point of doing the donkeys. .....and if that's being a 'big girl' Mr Workshy, then you are a :censored: :butthead: .

only just seen this keith, i use a couple emu oil which i use every day it takes a few days to start working but gets better and better with time and arnica gel which is soothing and cooling neither are very expensive and i have noticed a real improvement since using them, might be worth having a go as they can't hurt you.

I'm sure you have probably tried them before, but my old man used to use analgesic creams for a (very) bad back - which he felt helped a bit. Over the counter you can get the likes of Ibuprofen, but I think there are stronger ones on prescription.
