I have Aspergers Syndrome

I have Aspergers Syndrome according to info off the internet. The nearest health centre is Bedford 16 miles away so im tempted to go on a course to help with my problem. I guess I should actually go rather than just say i might go.

By all means go to see a Doctor and voice your concerns, but Asperger's Syndrome is not a common ailment and it is not something you should self-diagnose from the internet.

Always a bit tricky doing a self diagnosis.

I used to go out with a girl whose family fostered and they had a lad with Aspergers syndrome. Very clever kid, lovely lad, but very socially inadequate. I last saw him when he was 14 and he was more like an 11 year old really.

Was very compulsively into stuff like Pokemon or board games (for example he knew all the valeus on his pokemon cards off the top of his head). Could do very good maths, but give him a maths question involving apples and oranges, and he couldnt get his head round it.

Id say first step would be to get a proper diagnosis and then go from there.

You need to get a proper diagnosis Kered because by your own admission you're crap at self-diagnosis. And for this I wouldn't trust the internet as far as I can throw it.

On second thoughts, you do have AS...as in Attention Seeking...
