had my phone for a while now (just use it for the occasional call), but someone sent me a picture message, which i didn't know how to receive - so she told me to enable the internet settings, i did - and am now getting unwanted messages - they come from the WAP service and are text messages that just say 'i am wet' or ' i feel horny' etc........

now i don't know if i am paying £1.50 to receive these messages, i only turned the WAP on a week ago and am receiving a message every other day. i read the first 2 (i just press read now automatically when i see i have a text message) but have just been deleting them after that.

i certainly havn't subscribed to anything, nor did i visit any 'sex' sites on my phone, the only site i looked at was ESPN - but i only spent about 20 seconds total time on the phone internet before deciding it was usless.

is there any way of getting rid of these unwanted messages?

Ask Vegy to stop sending them? :D

Phone your service provider help desk and ask what to do! If they are not helpful just say you want to close your account. They usually get very helpful when you do that.

And if they're still not helpful - ask Vegy again to stop sending them.

so it was you
i will have a look at my bill to see if i am paying for them, it's been a couple of days since i got one - so perhaps they only send a fe in the hope that you subscribe (by replying).
