radio 1 big weekend - preston

anyone applied for tickets? i sent a load in using different e-mails etc... but i think it's 1 per IP address only as only 1 request has been accepted, 70,000+ have applied already so not sure if i will get any, though it does say 98% to people in the NW and the majority to preston people.

They do usually give them all to the people who have applied from the area first so you could well be lucky.

I got my confirmation that I didnt get them........then i got another about hour later saying the same.......then just to rub it in I got another 8 emails in the next 3 hours to say the same again

Maybe you will still be lucky with one of the others.

At least if you haven't got a reply yet there is still a chance.
Although they say a certain day they do have to contact 70,000 people.
I should imagine if they email to say that you have got tickets then you will have to confirm that you are definately going as well within a certain time,so all those who don't confirm can be offered again.

I was told this is how the tickets were given out -

16,024 tickets to postcodes PR1 and PR2
7,100 tickets to postcodes PR3-PR9 and BB1-BB12
10,740 tickets to the North West of England area
1,636 tickets to the rest of the UK.

being a long haired hippy biker, lol! ive never felt more out of place in my life.
