OFF - Candlestick Charts

Are these charts any use, or would I be wasting my time with them? Would they ever be of use on Betfair?

I just don't want to have to read all the blurb if they are useless.

I don't use them. But the first chart also shows what I assume are Bollinger bands which can be useful to give you a theoretical minimum / maximum price over a period, but I can't imaging they would be of too much use in a rapidly changing market like Betfair.

I generally find charts are great at telling you what has happened but are not quite so reliable for telling you what will happen.
