I've given up on this software, rather than rewriting the code, they've just kept adding to it. Not only does it give the same errors as V.8, 'Out of Memory' (on a 2GB system!!), crashing when viewing sub-directories in Vista (they were aware of this in 8, but failed to fix it for 9!), and a few other bugs, but worst of all, I have a dual core, and it they both run at 100% when CS3 is loaded :ooo ......at least 8 doesn't do that, so back to the old one.

PS. It has the same errors in Vista & XP, on 4 systems I use, and have been reported since 8 was launched, but Adobe have done bugger all to fix them.....maybe they are turning into MS :yikes:

Don't know about CS but I've never had any problems with 8. To be honest, I never found a great deal of difference between MX and 8 anyway.

Not much difference with CS3 apart from spry! I'll probably switch to Web Expressions, much smoother interface, and runs like a dream. I notice some reviews critising DW CS3 now compared with WW.
