Went to see the consultant on 5th June. I was in there approximately 5 minutes, all he said was 'Carry on as you are doing. You can't go underground yet. You can start back on light duties if you're able. See you in 3 months.' And that is virtually verbatim. Left arm and hand is still very numb. Still a lot of pain in my shoulders. There is actually increasing numbness in my right hand. My right leg and bum are always very cold. And when I yawn and stretch my left hand goes into a claw and is very painful. Strange thing nerve damage.
Anyway onward and upward.:)
You've done a lot of damage Sparks - gonna take a while for full recovery. Really looking forward to the day you can post full recovery complete. Look after yourself Sparky, and if you need to intimidate your doc into giving you a proper response - they respond to normal human emotions just like the rest of us :thumbs

Some of mine were damaged when they put my new jaw in, never repaired. When I scratch my head, my balls twitch :doh
You'll probably find you recover a lot, but will still have the odd weird sensation for the rest of your life.

All the best to you Sparks, sounds like things are definitely improving, and your consultant seems happy with your progress.
Can you type with both hands yet?
