this friend of mine had £100 on rasmussen after he won a stage a couple of weeks ago, i read this morning he has been sacked by his team and been withdrawn from the tour while leading. does anyone know what happens with his bet- is it deemed a non runner, money returned , or a losing bet, money lost. his bet was with betfair. thanks guys

according to betfair:
***ALL BETS STAND RUN OR NOT***
so looks a losing bet.

To put it in horse racing terms Rasmussen started the race and has been pulled up. That's a losing bet.

Wonder if some bookies will refund though as a 'gesture'.....usually the Paddy Bookies do things like that.....Brit ones are as tight as a 14yo before discovered by Gary Glitter :yikes:
