I love love love Radiohead... their early stuff more-so (especially The Bends, most of OK Computer). I think what they did with the launch of their new album was brilliant - letting people decide how much to pay for it online. I'm not aware of anyone doing that before? The thing I don't really understand about Radiohead is how they became so different after The Bends. Kid A onwards is totally different... less rocky, more atmospheric, weirder, eerier... something must have triggered that change and I'm curious as to what it was.

In Rainbows is just... WOW... I hope I'm not the only utterly obsessed Radiohead fan on here.

I like some Radiohead though I'm not a big fan, but the Pyramid Song is one of my favourite pieces of music ever - it's very much like some of Hawkwind's more atmospheric stuff, especially what they were doing as a 3 piece in the early 90's... sort of techno tinged trancey music. I'll try and get some of that era of the Hawks mp3'd and uploaded for you as it's quite unique and different for the band and I think you might like it John.

They played a gig at a shop in Brick Lane the other night... It was suposed to be a secret gig but thousands of people turned up and they had to move the gig to a bigger premises which delayed proceedings by a few hours

Campbell that would be great, thanks! It's a brilliant song, as you say one of the uniquely different tracks on the album. To be honest, I didn't really (REALLY) like Radiohead until recently. I'd heard The Bends, and listened to The Bends a lot, but as I write this I've got their 7 albums on shuffle. :)
Heard about the gig Vegy - just shows what they have become! They did a live session last night on Radio 1, mixed with a load of dance tracks, which from what little I heard was fab.

I don't like radohead but for the answer to this question I have watched this video many times, and I don't hear anything different to the normal lyrics, am I watching a different video?
