Hard to detect if you feel sorry for Fallon, Keith, or maybe you think he's guilty, but because he will have the cash of Magnier & co. behind him and the best legal team available they will get him off whether he is guilty or not.

My gut feeling is that he is up to his neck in it but will get off anyway. If he does get off I have to admit that I will look forward to seeing him riding again in the big races in England. A great sight when riding at the top of his game, inimitable style, bit like McCoy on the jumps.

Suspicious betting patterns on a jockey/trainer does not mean they are involved. Stats can throw up things if you do the research.

Take the member's monthly system, they pick up on what trainers/jockeys are doing basically now, most trends the public are not aware, many others I take advantage of.

Unless they have Fallon on record as saying he was fixing a race, they can't find him guilty, and I very much doubt he was involved, he just always mixed with the wrong people.

It is now an offence for a trainer/jockey to tell someone about the state of a horse, unless they also make the public aware. So unless all trainers give an update on every horse every day, that is impossible to do, so they are always guilty of breaking them, as they will always be talking to someone about the horses in their care.

Its going to be a long trial, probably the rest of the year.

Im one of those people who believe in our justice system. If he is guilty he will be convicted, if not then he will have a weight lifted off his shoulders. There are obviously issues there as the crown have decided there is a case to answer and hopefully the trial can provide some clarity and explanation to questions about the sport in general.

No one has ever been found guitly of this offence in a court of law before, and it is difficult to prove even with electronic trails, as they only show trends, not physical race fixing.

It seems a strange way to go about fixing races, losing on the 10/1 shots for a £10k gain and winning on the shorties for a £160k loss. :doh If they are guilty, they are bloody stupid too! :ermmm
