Very sad. I liked this horse. He always tried. That's why I never laid him.
RIP fella.

They fairly brushed over it on the beeb I thought, never a mention during the race even though it was far from the business end.
Bit of a lack of respect imo

Did you notice how Conor O Dyer made a point of looking back for quite a long time...he seemed quite concerned. It was a nasty fall and the horse seemed in quite a lot of distress.

Well last Saturday that Willy horses, died jumping a fence of a heart attack, and was as good as dead when he hit the floor, similar thing with Detroit, he had a ruptured heart valve, so went just as he was jumoing the hurdle. I thought it was a strange fall. No blood being pumped around his body
Sad thing is, this was a 'replacement' for Rooster Booster, bet the owner is gutted.

It's very sad news. Even though none of the favourites won it, Detroit City created huge excitement at Cheltenham which was great for the sport. Quite a few gone already this season.

Blimey, now Mr President collapsed at the start from a heart attack.
