I needed that!

I have missed a few System Banker selections recently, including all of Thursday evening and all of yesterday's, due to one thing and another. So going into the 12.45 I was on an 11 horse losing streak, the stakes were getting large (opening bet was 49p and Sharjan was my third £40+ bet in a row) so the bank had suffered a significant drop up till this point - down over £100.

I took 11/4 and calculated stakes based on that but because I backed the horse with Stan James I was able to take advantage of their best odds guarantee so got paid out at 4/1. And with the stakes as they were, i.e. based on shorter odds, they were bigger than they would be for a 4/1 winner so I got a very nice little bonus on this one and the bank has shot up! :D

The qualifiers have had one hell of a recent run, with around 47pts profit, so a bit of a bad blip is not unexpected at the moment.

What's happened to all the odds on shots lately? :yikes: It's not the ground :doh

It's nice when you get a losing run.....or am I just strange?!?!I like it when a few lose as it gets the stakes, and the heart rate, up. But I generally don't pay much attention to the losing runs. I enter the qualifiers and put the bets on with the stakes I am told to use - easy as that. I certainly don't fret about losing runs with this
