I bought this album on reccomendation and also the fact i think Robert Plant
is the man.Didn't really know that much about Alison Krauss but the more i listen to it, the album is growing on me. It might not be everymans style of music but its easy on the ear and a stocking filler for xmas. :thumbs

I've also got it and it's very very good indeed.... let's be honest... Plant's voice isn't really suited to belting out the powerful Zeppelin type stuff these days but he's a master of using what there is of his voice to it's full potential, and this sort of thing shows it off brilliantly.. great songs, and when you add the thing of beauty that is the voice of Alison Krauss it makes for some mellow and sublime listening... you should check out more of her stuff with Union Station... real rootsy bluegrass country, kind of similar to what Dolly Parton has done in recent years... only better.:)

Nice one Big C, I didn't know how popular Alison Krauss was in America but she has got awards as long as our street, i can also see why Robert is enthusiastic to take the partnership farther as oppose to going over old territory with the great Led Zep even though it will earn them millions. Maybe money isn't always the answer but this album does it for me arise SIR BOB!!!
