1. Got to be Henry Cecil winning one of the big'uns with LIGHT SHIFT ......I would have cried after that if I was a Brummie.....but luckily I'm not :D Well done to the guy though, battling cancer, and still managed a cracking year, and his curse on Fallon is still working. :thumbs

2. The flat jockeys championship. I don't remember one like it since Dunwoody v Maguire over jumps (lost by 3 wins). Great to see grafter Seb collecting the trophy...not so gold spoon fed baby boy spencer....(Hint of wanting to :icon_tong his wife jealousy there!!!)

3. Recent event. Well done to David Pipe, winning the big ones every Saturday is something his dad, Martin, used to do through the 90's, and early this century. It's like being in a time machine watching them....just a pity I can't remember the result when I come back to the future. :geek

3 great choices there Keith, especially Henry Cecil desrvedly back at the top again after all the horrible problems he's had in recent years... I'm not a great fan of Spencer either, and to be honest he's really only up there because Fallon isn't! Good to see Pipe jr doing well... I'd also give an honourable mention to old Ginger McCain's son who seems to be going well with that stable.

oh yeah... let's not forget the most memorable moment.... Vegy's first winning tip of the year on November 27th, his best result yet!

Oi Big Man! :D No losing horsey tips between now and boxing day either! :D

1. Spot The Difference at Cheltenham last month! His collapsing / losing his footing at the end made it a real dramatic moment.

2. Kauto Star winning the Gold Cup. An excellent performance, although one I had to make do with highlights for as I was in a hospital at the time of the race.

3. Frankie winning the Derby... and in such emphatic style too. A real creduit to his sport and a real champion for horse racing through a difficult period for racing!

1. Spotthedifference winning his last ever race. Great scenes

To be honest, after that there wasn't that many highlights this year...just a lot of low lights

Frankie winning the Derby has to be one of them, for sure.

My main highlight this year though was taking in two days of the Cheltenham Festival and watching some quality racing live from the course.

Spencer and Saunders provided a great championship battle but if Ryan Moore is fit then cannot see him beyond him in 08
