Question for our Irish friends, Paddy, Paddy & Paddy :D

Which are the talking horses for the 2008 flat season? The Dubai Carnival is about to start, so we'll get an idea of a few of the Arab horses....that's if the owners haven't commited suicide from metting Bush :laugh

I believe Paddy Doyle is keeping quiet, Paddy Fallon is otherwise busy, and Paddy English is in a Romanian jail for football violence, so maybe you can answer on there behalf? :D

I think we'll hear a lot about MAHLER this year. He had some cracking runs in '07 (including 2nd in the St Leger). I think he'll really come into his own as a 4-y-o in 2008. O Brien noted that he was a bit green in 2007, but should be ready for some big races in the upcoming flat season.

I've always found in the majority of cases with top class 2yo's they always make much better 4yo's than 3.

Those 2yo's that do run well at 3, tend to only do it early season, and then burnout as all the others grow/improve past them.

The number of hyped horses at 3 that fail, and are then forgotten at 4, are usually still in my notebook.
