hi all, i have tried fracsoft which is official data solution for betfair, it is EXCELLENT BUT very buggy and slow to run...

if ur patient there will be troves of data to look thorugh and it confirms one of the trading systems that i have does win long term, very nicely.

If you need odds mining, this one does it BEST!

So that's why Betangel had to stop selling there software for mining data, and Betfair changed the T&C to make it illegal to hold any data. They are now selling it through them.

It is easy to program Betangel Pro in Excel to mine the same data, which is against Betfair's T&C.

yes thats kind of sneaky eh??

and the prices arent cheap for fracsoft as well, its around half a pound each meeting... but i downloaded like 6 meetings, and i now have some data to work wwith

in the past my long term positioned trades on horses will make perhaps 30 dollar on averageper day, across 3 meeting... but with the new data, a newly implemented filter seems to bump this up to average 120 dollars profits per daily trading activity!!! i am downloading even more meeting to confirm this.

But i have a good feeling about this... jesse livermore was crazy about going though past records becasue patterns will emerge clearly after some time given certain conditions on the market..

As with all betting, do not look for trends in 100% of data. Use 50% at most, then check those trends in the remaining 50%. Most will fail that test, those that don't need to be followed up.
