It appears that this hasn't made the news anywhere, and takes some digging to find it.

The European Union Commission has admitted it has made a major error in it's biofuels directive. The boss stated "We did not forsee the problems with rain forests being destroyed to grow them, or higher food prices" DUH!!! I thought these folk are supposed to be intelligent!! Scientists have been saying this for yonks :ermmm
The US is still going ahead building biofuel plants to process corn, and yet the CO2 benefits are pretty much ZERO :rolleyes:
The only reason I'm having a rethink on my next vehicle is the fueld prices, bugger all to do with green issues or government/EU policies.
