Well it seems the murdering scumbag has been arrested this morning, and it appears his family and friends have been nicked as well. :thumbs Seems they've known who shot the poor lad for months but have spent all this time working like the Mafia to get the witnesses protection. :ooo

Bang them all up I say, and throw away the key.

I think everyone in Britain knew who it was - but the police couldn't do anything without evidence.

If that's true then how come I got arrested for assault on the say so of a 10 year old pikey (fortunately one of my neighbours saw the incident and the charges were dropped).

This country is, unfortunately, littered with scumbags and for some reason the police are too busy filling in paperwork or sitting in laybys reading The Sun to actually arrest them.

The police are suffering from cut-backs during the Tory years, and now with Labour more stats & paperwork than ever that has eaten up all the new recruits. On top of that they have to go to court to get the £200 back pay. :splapme

Then they have to put up with the fact that when they do put all the work in, the justice system just lets the buggers off!!

I don't blame them for doing bugger all.

Reading the Sun? If you spot any police in a lay-by, it's a fairly safe bet that they're pointing a radar gun at someone so that they can swell the government's coffers. Monitoring speedtraps, and issuing a case number so that hapless citizens can attempt to claim for stolen property off their insurance, seems to be the limit of the capabilities when it comes to tackling crime nowadays.

Things have gone downhill since they were given the freedom to bash bolshy miners over the bonce with their truncheons in Maggie's day :D
