It was not the best was it to say the least....and a very dangerous score....means they have to win basically whereas a score draw would be good enough for Barca. Its still a 50-50 game. I thought Fergie said Utd were going to have a go! :yikes:

Come back Chelsea - all is forgiven!
Dreadful game. Yes, United needed to contain Barcelona but never have two attacking sides produced such a poor game. Barca's approach play was good but they were poor in the final third. And Man Utd thought the point of the game was to lump the round white thing to the opposition keeper or pass it to one of the stripey fellas.

Very strange tactics, didn't look anything like the Man Utd team I've seen all season. I can't understand going there for a 0-0 with the hope of nicking a goal. With the way Barcelona have played all season and the way United have played surely they could have taken them on and beaten them.
Would be just like football though for Ronaldo to cost them a place in the final after just about everything he's touched all season has turned to gold.

exactly, put into words which i was too annoyed to say last night. have we not learnt that we need an away goal and last night we should have at least tried a lot harder to get one. golden chance gone.
i think united will needto score 2 at least on tuesday.
