all of the heroes? Maybe... here's a list of folk who don't seem to be around any more.. all of whom have contributed in there own special way to this forum, mostly good, occasionally bad, and in a handful of cases thank :censored: they're no longer here pestering us! This is by no means complete, but having gone through a large part of the members list I think I've covered most of the more memorable ex-forumites... but if I've missed someone, please feel free to add them. Should jog a few memories for a lot of you!

Hi Big C and everyone else :Helooo
Hope and trust everyone is well. Haven't been around for quite some time, I think the last time I was here I was moaning about the donkey racing results and pretty much ditched all I was doing in favour of trading on Forex. Can be a tad scary at times but for me is a damn sight more reliable than trusting that Bettie Spencer will time her last millisecond dash to perfection or that any one of a number of NH jocs will actually jump the last rather than fiddle their way over it and lose from a winning position.
Gonna have a nose around and see whats changed - oh, and I cant say how much I HATE liverpool fc after they dumped the gunners out of the European Cup - we wus robbed:D

Welcome back Vic.... a few folk on here have been on the Forex, or was it XXXX:) We'd narrowed your absence down to a couple of choices.... you were undergoing a sex change, or hiding in a Tibetan monastery after murdering the last jockey to upset you!

In a way I miss Kered.
He gave me something to be annoyed about every day.
Vic, have you given up on the horses completely?

In a way I miss Kered.
He gave me something to be annoyed about every day.
Frustration at its finest... I'm pleased he's gone, because some people just never learn, nomatter how much advice and help you provide... he'll never bet sensibly, it's instilled in him to be silly with money.

Still here check in on you guys every now and then, just lazy and don't log in. Doing the most unsocial hours. I worked behind bars since I was 18 then my a freind of mine asked me to help him out and be stewardess at the local club I said ok but 10 hour shifts and the like I don't get much time.
Miss my racing, but still do a bit of trading on my days off. Just need to green up and not be greedy, as in my head I know best :D

Hi BigC et al,
I stopped "investing" in horses last year or was it the year before when the betfair bank I had built up over a number of years was almost completely wiped out.
But I had only myself to blame, should have pulled the plug during a particularly bad run.
But I enjoyed this game so I have just restarted.
Back to basics, no need for many many columns on a spreadsheet and the frustration of not being back from work in time to place a bet.
Just take it slowly, using a small bank. If it works again, all the better, if not, then I have not lost out. It will still be fun, and that is what matters.
Shows how long I have been away, Betfair have now got TV ! !
