Sinusitis is pretty uncomfortable to say the very least. They can usually 'cure' it fairly quickly with a sinus wash (nasal irrigation) but it is not considered to be an urgent operation and you might have to wait for it.
I have lived with it (off and on) pretty much all my life - when I was first diagnosed aged 7, they stuck me on a 7 year waiting list. Unfortunately, we moved home just before the op was due and the hospital refused to do it because I didn't live in their area (all hail the NHS!!!!). After that, I never got round to having it done.
One thing I find particularly useful on the bunged up days is those nasal strips - they can be a bit fiddly at first, but once you get used to them, they are amazing. Be sure to get the right size and to follow the instructions, otherwise you won't get the full benefit.
Also, you should probably consult your doctor about the vertigo - it could be that your sinusitis is caused by an infection which could have spread to your inner ear.

Try chewing Airwaves, they can clear you up a bit.

The vertigo only came because i let it get too bad. I work in dusty conditions at times and was doing sanding at home in the evenings too. I went to the doctor and he gave me steroids and anti biotics. For me, it only comes on once in a blue moon for some reason

I've been suffering from this for about 4 weeks now coming and going, headaches, eye-ache, bunged up first thing in the morning. I had the same symptoms about a year and half ago, and the doc gave me that nasal spray.
Im going back to doc next week to try and sort it out again and hopefull for good, going to Cyprus in 3 weeks and I don't want to feel like ::swear over there.
Sinus problems and a hangover :yikes:
