Hi Lowe1

I believe I've been following said tipster for a while now, but only his win bets.
Since the 23rd April he's had 112 runners of these 34 have won .

at level stake's you would been down -15.77pts to a 1pt stake.

Using Keith's method of using 3% of your betting bank, with a betting bank at £200 to start you would be left with £121.

Doubling your stake after a loser (Martindayle I believe its called) you would be up by 709pts starting with 1pt. But you would have had to stake 256 pts twice.

Any thoughts.

i can see what your saying that following these every day would then you would be at a loss
i have been using these as fun bets due to me not being able to place a bet everyday

though from the 03/07/08 to todays date i have bet on 30 tips with the following winners and placed

07/07/2008 Bet : 3-45 Musselburgh Sandwith @ 5/2 FAV W
06/07/2008 Bet : 2-30 Brighton Rapid Release @ 13/8 2F W
06/07/2008 Bet : 3-50 Ayr Bijou Dan @ 13/2 3F W
09/07/2008 Bet : 3-55 Lingfield Kheylide @ 7/2 W
12/07/2008 Bet : 2-10 York Blue Spinnaker @ 12/1 W
22/08/2008 Bet : 2-05 Newmarket Lush Lashes @ 6/5 W
21/08/2008 Bet : 5-40 Chester Tanforan @ 8/1 P
13/07/2008 Bet : 2-40 Ayr What A Fella @ 14/1 P

so as i am only using this bets as fun bets its a 33% strike rate and some good prices to boot

Yes, don't do it! A 30% SR (34/112) will give you losing runs up to 18 in a row. Sooner or later you will bust the bank.

HI MattR

How do work out the losing run figure?

In the 112 bets I've already had two 8 selection losing runs.
