Nothing going right for me whatsoever tonight.

For example - near the end of an STT so blinds are 100/200. I sit in the big blind holding Q 4 - there are 3 people remaining - one caller and the flop is Q 4 8. The other guy shoves all his 800 chips in, and I call 800 leaving me with 450 remaining. He shows 8 9. Turn: 8. River: 9. Full house 8's over 9's to him, two pair for me.

Next hand: I hold Aces. I shove my 450 chips in. One caller - same guy. Calls with J 9 and hits a straight.

What the hell must I do to win?

Had a day off from poker today - been doing plenty of other things.

Spent 3 hours playing table tennis tonight, decided I would start again after 8 years of not playing and attended what I thought was going to be a beginner's class! Turns out most people are pretty good. Played doubles too and had a great time. I've still got it! :D
