played a 1000 player freeroll on betfair today finished 11th was low chipped and needed 1 double up to get me into the last 9 which was what the tourny paid. was in a good position with 77 raised preflop and flop is K6K so unless bb has a K i'm ok so i go all in and he shows K6.
I couldn't believe it.

I really can't see the point of freerolls like that. Why spend the time (couple of hours?) playing a tourney where less than 1% of the field get paid. That time is surely much better spent playing STTs or even cash games. If you have to play MTTs then I bet there were better tourneys on offer. This is one of the reasons I really don't get MTT play

well the prize is a place in there 55k weekly tourny i think and judging by the players and the way they play will only be a matter of time before i get there. just kinda getting my bearings round how many chips you need to get to the final 9 etc. this was proberbly my 3rd go and although it was a freeroll the players were really bad and i would fancy my chances if i ever get qualified

played another of there freerolls just now 832 players didn't realise it only paid 1 place finished 4th arggggggggggggg AK suited got busted by a pair of 10's
