Game on.......

Each week runs from SUNDAY to SATURDAY

WEEK 11
00:00:00 Sunday 25th January - 23:59:59 Saturday 31st January

You start with 3 Lives AND 3 Jokers.
The aim of the game is to preserve your Lives for as long as you can, by 'backing' the correct outcome of racing & sports events, along with tactical use of your Jokers........to ultimately knock out all of your opponents to become the last player in the game & bag the prize.
Once your Lives have gone......you are out of the game.
Surviving Jokers cannot be used once your Lives are gone.
Played tactically, Jokers can be useful for staying in the game.

Each week you must post EITHER...
a) 2 bets at MINIMUM odds of 1.5 (exchanges) or 1/2 (bookmaker sites).
b) 2 Jokers instead of bets, in order to preserve your Lives.
c) 1 bet at MINIMUM odds of 1.5 (exchanges) or 1/2 (bookmaker sites) & 1 Joker.
d) As the game progresses....whatever you have left to survive...

At the end of every SECOND week, if you still have a life intact, you will receive a bonus life (up to a maximum of 3 bonus lives).

If a bet loses, you lose a life.

Bets can be on ANY sport or event.....however....

Duplicate bets by different players are NOT allowed.
LAY, IN-RUNNING, MULTIPLES and SPREAD bets are NOT allowed.
Bets must be BACK bets to win/place the outcome/result of each event specified.
Asian Handicap bets are only allowed as long as the bets DO NOT include a DNB (Draw No Bet) option.......ie stake or part of stake returned if the event outcome results in a draw/tie.
Bets are accepted on a first come first served basis.

Bets must be settled by the end of the week in which they are posted.

Your bets can be posted at ANY time during each 7 day period, ie they don't both have to be posted at the start of each week......you can post them on the day of the event if you wish.

When posting your bets you MUST include:
Date of event
Event
Selection
Type of bet......win, place, number of goals, under/over, HT/FT etc etc.
Odds
Name of exchange/bookie offering the named odds.

I also appreciate that Saturday is when the majority of sporting activity occurs, so I am expecting most of you to post then.

However, a gentle reminder for the new players....

WEEK 1 ends at 23:59:59 GMT Saturday night.

Bets still to be placed for WEEK 1 MUST be posted AND the event outcome finalised, by this time. (Allowances are made for USA sports events which do not finish until early Sunday GMT.)

Remember that you can post Jokers instead of posting bets, to preserve your Lives for that little bit longer.......if you get to the end of WEEK 2 with at least one life intact, you will earn a bonus life.

Please be aware that Jokers (or Lives, if you have no Jokers) will be posted on your behalf, for each bet you fail to post for WEEK 1.

I'm 99% sure that Mat is not going to be able to post another bet (or JOKER) in time to meet the WEEK 8 deadline of midnight tonight (Saturday), so.....in the spirit of fair play.......

To be in with a chance of WINNING the game, players must successfully get through WEEK 11.

To achieve this.....

IRON CHRIS & TOO TALL must post 2 winning bets in WEEK 11.
ADA must EITHER: post 2 winning bets OR post 1 winning bet & play his remaining JOKER.

If 1 player gets through WEEK 11.......we have a winner.
If 2 or 3 players get through WEEK 11......then we progress into WEEK 12 & possible SUDDEN DEATH*.

PLEASE NOTE: If all 3 players FAIL to get through WEEK 11 then WEEK 11 will be played again as a SUDDEN DEATH* scenario (each player having 1 life remaining & 0 JOKERS)

I had to take a risk as I wanted to save the jokers for the final week(s) when I believe they become more powerful but it didn't quite work out for me. Unfortunately the other bets I had on my shortlist were all winners - I shouldn't have strayed from the English leagues :ermmm

Dont know never bet on something the public vote on i guess. Only went for that bet because i was struggling to find a bet and the missus said he would defo win :splapme
