HAPPY CHRISTMAS one and all.
So far so good, kids seem happy enough (far too many presents for my liking though)
But the real test will be the dinner which is being served imminently. :D
GOOD LUCK one and all with the bumper racing day tomorrow!

Happy Christmas everyone, hope you all had a fantastic day! :thumbs
Peza - guess what I started reading last night? Borrowed it from my best mate:
Ryan Giggs' autobiography. :)
Giggsy was my childhood footballing hero (and still is) - I think he's a footballing genius.

So you could be any age between 14 and 40.
I think it's odd that when the "greatest" Premiership players are discussed Giggs rarely gets a mention but his impact over the past 17 (yes 17) seasons has been nothing short of phenomenal.
I would say that the only other players to have shown such longevity and consistency have been Gary Speed (another Welshman), Jamie Carragher (I find it so difficult to type that without throwing up on my keyboard), Nicky Butt, Alan Shearer and Sol Campbell.
I would have included David James but the I used the word consistency!!!

He is consistent.....but not in a way we understand! :D

Agreed CF - and let's not forget though that Giggsy was awarded an MBE not long ago for his services to football. :)
I would agree on the other players you mentioned above too... now I'm trying to think of other players in the same vein. Tony Adams? Peter Schmeichel?

I'm sure a Mr. Edward Sheringham would have something to say about that. :wink
